October 15, 2020 – EnCompass Solutions Group (Port Coquitlam, B.C.) and ABB Inc. have partnered on delivering and servicing low- and medium-voltage system drives for Western Canada.

Based on this partnership, ABB will contribute its full range of voltage capabilities while ESG leverages its knowledge and experience in serving various industries to provide an array of power solutions and services.

In other ABB-related Western Canada news, the company says it will enhance its operations by consolidating its regional call centres and warehouses in Edmonton, while its sales and commercial office will remain in the Vancouver area.

ABB will go ahead with the consolidation of a new larger logistics operation to house Baldor-Reliance industrial electric motors and Dodge mechanical power transmission products in Edmonton, and transfer distribution and order handling activities by November.
